Chettle Long Barrow submitted by beaconhill on 29th Jul 2018. It's covered in weeds but it's a huge megalith, tapered at one end. Great views up there - you can really feel the intense spirituality in the landscape.

Log Text: Very overgrown with weeds but clearly visible is this massive long barrow, tapering at one end. It's on an impressive site with views in all directions. A hedgerow with some quite big trees in it passes the barrow so you have to go through a hole in the hedge (on footpath) to look both ways. Nice.
