Tealing Souterrain submitted by Nick on 5th Nov 2002. Tealing is just north of Dundee on the A929. Turn into the village and follow the road round, and look for the signpost. The souterrain is down a track and over a stile in a field behind the doocot (16th century pigeon house). This site dates from approximately 100 AD, and is a well preserved example. These earth houses were covered over with thatched roofs, and used for storage. The cup and ring marked stone at the northern entrance is thought to have been taken from another site and used ...

Site Type: Chambered Tomb
Country: Germany (Baden-Wuerttemberg)
Visited: Yes on 25th May 2017. My rating: Condition 3 Ambience 3 Access 5
Steinkiste Degernau submitted by AlexHunger on 4th Sep 2005. The cap stone is about 2 Meters by 1.2 Meters and the front upright is about 1 Meter wide with a 40 Cm diameter Soulhole. There is an about 6 meter diameter tumulus around the Dolmen. The dolmen was heavily restored in the 1970's, but still has a really nice atmostphere.
The "soul Hole" of the Toten Mann Dolmen looks straight at the Buehlhoetzle Menhir from 550 Meters away up a small hill.

Heidenstein (Schwörstadt) submitted by AlexHunger on 4th Sep 2005. Heidenstein - Schwörstadt (Front)
Front upright orthostat with "Soul Hole" and only remainder of former Dolmen. 1.9 Meter tall and about 3 meters wide and dated to about 2500 BC.
The cap stone was alledgedly carted away by the local blacksmith several decades ago. The rear side shows traces of fire due to the burning of trash. Archeologists have marked out the outline of the rest of the dolmen with bricks and set up an information sign.
It and the Toten Mann are the southernmost Dolmen...
