St David's Head submitted by Horatio on 11th Jul 2019. Inside the iron age fort at St Davids Head you can clearly see the outline of some of the 7-8 hut circles. In this case one of them filled with climbing helmets from the local adventure company (the kids must've been off somewhere) and the group I was with for the day learning about the landscape, standing outside one of the circles. In the background can be seen Carn Llidi which is rich in archaeology including 2 neolithic chambers, prehistoric enclosures and field systems.

Such an interesting place. The water-worn stones brought to mind a similarly worn stone set in Buttern stone circle on Dartmoor.

Abereiddy Promontory Fort submitted by h_fenton on 12th Jan 2010. Abereiddy Promontory Fort/enclosure, view of the ditches, ramparts and interior with the later tower. Just beyond the tower and to the right (north) are some depressions that probably contained buildings, these depressions have banks on their lower sides.
The slight bank closest to the camera is probably post-medieval.
Very low level, Kite Aerial Photograph (I do have a few higher shots but this show it all quite well)

Andle Stone (Stanton Moor) submitted by PaulM on 1st Sep 2001. The Andle Stone, near Doll Tor Stone Circle, Stanton Moor, Derbyshire GR: SK241630
The Andle Stone or Oundle Stone is a dominating outcrop of sandstone, standing alone in the middle of a field, surrounded by a dry-stone wall and a mass of rhododendrons. Approximately 5m high by 4.5m wide, the rock is supposedly carved with ancient cupmarks on the, modern graffiti, a relatively recent inscription and climbing holes on the sides.
