Access is easy to find if approaching from Stackpole warren, after entering the double gate enclosure from the woods, before leaving through the second gate in front of you. look right and you'll see a side gate that leads to the stone.

Its a cracking little barrow, with the most wonderful passage and chambers inside, and the powers that be have even left a decent sized area around it free of any farming activity. A lovely sunny day, but some of the walk to the barrow was horrendously muddy. The fields around the barrow had recently been ploughed, a crop of beet of some sort having been the last grown. While walking back after my visit, I found a bit of the lovely golden colou...

Cosdon Hill Summit Cairns, Dartmoor, Devon SX636915 to SX637917 The remains of five cairns can clearly be found at the summit of Cosdon Hill, approximately following the ridge of the hill in a north-south manner. The fifth cairn at the north of the hill is a very impressive beast. This cairn must be nearly complete except for a small depression within the centre.
