A massive 7' high standing stone. It has an almost square cross section with a circumference of over 11'. There are 2 large slab stones lie close by so this may not be simply a standing stone.

Better known as the Penrhiw Burial Chamber this damaged tomb has a large rectangular capstone resting on 3 uprights. It was re-erected some years ago.
Shots from other angles would have been taken but a small herd of highly inquisitive bullocks is not conducive to creative composition or a steady camera hand!

Cae'rarfau submitted by SolarMegalith on 22nd Jun 2008. Very nice burial chamber, almost fully covered with climbers. It must have been covered with a barrow, but there are no visible remains of it any more as the whole area is a garden now.
