The Tryfel Stones submitted by SandyG on 13th Jan 2019. Plan of Tryfel stone row (Source 1:100 survey by Sandy Gerrard). Recumbent stones are shown green and those whose extent could not be determined are depicted as green circles. Only 11 stones were identified at the time of the survey but given the tiny size of some stones others may survive below the turf.

Maen Mawr submitted by AngieLake on 8th Aug 2005. This view of Maen Mawr looks north towards the even-shaped flat-topped mountain that blocks the north aspect of this lovely symmetrical valley. The larger Fan Brycheiniog mountain is out of sight to the NW of this view. Behind me is Cerrig Duon circle, overlooking the alternate E/W folds either side of the southern slopes of the valley from the semi-circular south end of this platform.

Careg Lywd 2 submitted by SandyG on 23rd Oct 2019. Looking north along the row. The northern length of the row has been exposed by peat erosion and a shift in orientation coincides with an adjacent rock outcrop which blocks views from parts of the row. The row is orientated NNW to SSE and there is another stone row in the vicinity.

Nant Gwinau submitted by SandyG on 11th Feb 2020. Loosely set stone forming part of a line of similar stones (Scale 1m).

Log Text: These stones are loosely set into the upper part of a deep peat deposit and cannot therefore be of prehistoric date. The most likely interpretation is that they are post-medieval boundary markers, perhaps indicating the extent of proposed peat cutting.

NGR: around SM99893591 (Landranger map 157/Outdoor Leisure North Pembrokeshire map (No 35))
Four stones remain of this row - two of which make up gateposts - the other two are upright in the hedge that borders the road. The Outdoor Leisure North Pembrokeshire map marks only three but two further stones are located ~300m to the south east. Other stones can be seen or make up the roadside bank.
The gateposts look quite square unlike the other two s...

Gors Fawr Stone Circle submitted by Horatio on 22nd Jun 2019. Summer Solstice sunrise at Gors Fawr 2019. Taken on my phone.
As I stood behind everyone I thought 'just how many people over the thousands of years have stood in my place and watched this and how many more to come in the following years to replace me'
It was a truly moving, 'spiritual' experience.
It was a long day yesterday (not just because the hours of sunlight) as sunrise here, then work (in east Carmarthenshire) and then back to N Pembs for the sunset at Pentre Ifan burial ch...

Looking SW,the view here is outstanding. This must have been a very sought after plot of Neolithic real-estate.It is set in a hollow on the cliffside lined with stones bigger than any but the capstone.Children & Nash suggest "no covering mound would have existed because the ledge.....is far too narrow." St Elvis Farm submitted by Adam Stanford on 18th Nov 2004. Located on a N-W facing slope, the tomb is one of three coastal burial sites in south-west Wales which appear to have been purposely concealed from the sea. A ‘double cromlech’ with 2 capstones is supported by two uprights. There are traces of a mound between both chambers and on the western side of the western chamber. However, both structures are today badly damaged. During the latter years of the 19th century, a tenant farmer from nearby St Elvis Farm was asked to stop ‘blasting’ bits...
