Calling Low Dale
Date Added: 24th May 2015
Site Type: Cave or Rock Shelter
Country: England (Derbyshire)
Visited: Yes on 9th Feb 2015

Calling Low Dale submitted by pab on 9th Feb 2015. Photo provided by Alexis Lambourne:
"The cave / shelter makes use of a natural overhang in the cliff which makes a roof, this has been added to by enclosing it with a dry stone wall. The enclosed space is small (~6 ft long and maybe 4 feet wide). It is dry-ish, but the strata of the limestone rock just there is vertical making the roof quite loose and a bit drippy. Definitely more of a shelter than a 'home'. "

St Keyne's Well submitted by AngieLake on 13th Sep 2008. The area of the well, on a corner where two lanes meet.
En route from Liskeard to Duloe turn off [signposted to St Keyne's Well] on sharp bend in St Keyne village. About a mile downhill [a narrow road!], and this otherworldly place is on your left. Steps lead into well area from the lane, and from the road. Really, really worth a visit!
