I am not 100% sure whether this is the Cap del Pouech dolmen or another. I parked at the Southern entrance to the cave and followed a marked walking trail up and over the hill above the cave, following signs to the dolmen. There were other dolmens signposted in the area.

Dolmen de Peyré (Sabarat) submitted by NickyD on 14th Aug 2015. The Dolmen was a little tricky to find (the signposts only went so far!). It was up a grassy strip of land, hidden amoungst the undergrowth and trees.

Nine Stones Close submitted by funsize on 4th Jun 2007. Seen from the south with just a hint of sunshine illuminating the frozen landscape around the stones. The guardian oak tree is the perfect companion to the last remaining stones of what was once a much larger monument.

Log Text: My most favourite site. Managed to visit a couple of times a day and had the place to ourselves for most of them. It truly is the most magical place. We experimented with the sound/echo effects here and at the Stones of Stenness and the results were fascinating.
