Avebury submitted by creators on 27th May 2005. I have been reluctant to submit this picture because it is a composite, taken on the same day in the same place but still a composite. It is AngieLake's exquisitely named 'receptors' hands receiving the moon and a picture I love.
So a composite done tenderly of Avebury that is at my very heart.

Murthly submitted by rogerkread on 8th May 2017. The estate this is hidden in is complex to say the least, and there are no helpful signs. The best bet is to ask a local - if you can find one! Many large houses but people eerily absent on a spring day in mid afternoon when I was there.

Nether Largie South submitted by Fairycake on 26th Sep 2020. Looking towards the cairn from the south with the large cist in the foreground. This is by far the biggest cist I have seen. There are several inserted into earlier monuments near to here, apart from this, showing these sites continued to have significance over a long period of time.
