Log Text: I summited Hawk's Tor without any expectations. I was surprised to find these mysterious stones wedged into a crevice between rocks. Subsequently I discovered that this arrangement was considered to be a stone row.

Log Text: Rillaton Barrow is prominent in Minions Moor c. 600 yards NNE of The Hurlers N Stone Circle. Rillaton N Cairn is located c. 40 yards NNW of the Barrow. This much reduced site is rarely visited due to the proximity of the impressive Rillaton Barrow.

Log Text: Take the Davidstow road in the centre of Bossinay at SX 0656 8882. Follow the road for c. 0.5 mile to a crossroads. Turn left onto a minor road for c. 50 yards to park up in a passing place. Walk back up to the the crossroads. The ancient cross is on your left adjacent to the road.

Log Text: This ruined cist is in a featureless moor with many scattered stones. Good GPS navigation is vital to locate the cist. It only becomes apparent at close range.

Log Text: Carburrow Tor has a large summit plain with panoramic views. There are two large cairns on the summit. the W Cairn has been extensively quarried leaving an irregular stony surface. The E Cairn is largely intact with a shelter hollowed on the summit and a stone structure built on the W arc.

Chapel Carn Brea Cairns submitted by Bladup on 19th Nov 2013. Stones of the kerb cairn at SW 38372806. It is 5.5m in diameter and is about 1.5m high on the lower, west side and 0.5m high on the east. The interior is earth filled to within 0.2m of the top of the inner kerb, of which three upright slabs can be detected. Five stones of the outer kerb can be seen.

This shot shows the huge but low (4.5ft - 1.4m) SE-facing doorway of the Carn Euny 'Beehive Hut' underground chamber, with its own short passage leading into the fogou passage which runs SW/NE, (but snaking here with a flatter, more W/E run), just outside the doorway. It is thought that the Beehive Hut (chamber) was the first structure on this site, so that originally the eastern wall of the fogou passage would not have obstructed the view.
