Tolcreeg Barrow submitted by Bladup on 13th Jul 2016. Tolcreeg Barrow is now only visible as a slight rise (as seen in this photo). This photo is looking south. It's shocking to think this wonderful sounding Entrance grave was destroyed only a few decades ago in 1963.
Looking down the Try valley the sea is visible in the distance and Mulfra hill is the hill on the right.

Chun Quoit submitted by Horatio on 22nd Jun 2025. Wherever you go you're going to find like minded people to share in this amazing experience, I shared the Sunset experience with these guys who where great fun. I always mention The Megalithic Portal on my travels most people people have heard of this site but occasionally I come across someone who I have to initiate lol.
I hope all megpeg members had a great Solstice celebration.

Four Parishes Rock
Date Added: 27th Jul 2025
Site Type: Sculptured Stone
Country: England (Cornwall)
Visited: Yes on 26th Jul 2025. My rating: Condition 4 Ambience 4 Access 4

Four Parishes Rock submitted by Bladup on 4th Dec 2017. Four Parishes Rock, I believe the right hand side of this stone is a slightly different colour because it was once in the ground (for a long time), therefore making this a former Standing Stone. The weathering at the other end (left) is also going in the right direction if made when stood up. Ding Dong mine is visible on the right.

Cork Stone submitted by Vicky on 13th Nov 2001. The Cork Stone, Stanton Moor, Derbyshire GR: SK245628
The Cork Stone is one of a number of impressive natural outcrops on Stanton Moor. Composed of weathered sandstone it resembles a huge mushroom or cork. As with the Andle Stone nearby it is covered in graffiti from the 19th and 20th centuries and has steps carved into the side to allow access to the top.
