North Balfern Cup and Rings submitted by MDunbar on 19th Apr 2013. Easily found. Jump over gate opposite the large house halfway down the hill and the outcrops are clearly visible

Log Text: Easily found and the outcrops are visible from the road. Parking a bit tricky. Hop over the gate opposite the larger, stone house on the right hand side of the road (when facing downhill). The outcrops are about 20 yards away, across a muddy field.

Drannandow Circle submitted by mickm on 17th Mar 2005. This circle is so inconspicuous that it is easy to miss it even if you are standing by it. This photo shows the 6 remaining stones hiding in the grass. It is just to one side of the track up to the rather more impressive Drannandow chambered cairn & the Thieves standing stones.

Log Text: Appears as a large circle of small stones with the area dotted with small cairns. About a 40 minute walk from the farmhouse
