St Ia's Well (Troon) submitted by Borlewen on 21st Aug 2022. St Ia's Well: Described By C Thomas in 1962 as exiting the Reens Rocks (also known as St Meriasek's hiding place), opposite St Ia's Chapel remains.
There is a natural hole still in the rocks, with a set of rock basins below, catching the water. probably dry due to water diversion from Troon. The stream from Troon runs to Pendarves lake.

St Meriasek's Well submitted by theendlessbreeze on 25th Nov 2004. This well is on Tehidy Road, the turning in to Rosewarne Gardens. Go to the left and you find the well, it is basically on the other side of the wall to the Richard Trevithick plaque.

Log Text: I remember that the main chamber was actually dry in this visit - unlike my second visit! However, there was still a lot of water at the far end of the passage.
