Inveravon submitted by golux on 14th Aug 2010. The four pictish symbol stones are displayed on the south wall of St Peter's church at Inveravon. From left to right they are:
no.2 - crescent-with-V-rod above a triple disc ("cauldron") above a mirror -and-comb
no.3 - the "pictish beast" (fragment of the head only)
no.1 - disc-with-rectangle (perhaps a mirror without a comb) above a large eagle next to a mirror-and-comb
no.4 - crescent-with-V-rod above the "pictish beast"

Erdeborn Flintstone Mines submitted by dodomad on 24th May 2017. The flintstone mines in Erdeborn (Saxony-Anhalt/Germany) are 6000 years old.
The picture shows one of the up to 3.5 m deep Neolithic shafts. They were between 60 cm and 80 cm broad. The cavity at the bottoms often was 2 m boad.
