St Cedd was granted land by Ethelwald and aided by his brother, Chad, built a monastery near Lastingham. This well bears his name and the stones for the housing are said to have come from Rosedale Abbey. Probably a christianised pagan well.

Harland Moor submitted by kelpie on 23rd Feb 2004. This circle consists of twelve edge-set boulders. It has a hollow in the centre thought to be a medieval ore-pit.
To the south lies a cairn field and a stone that I believe to be an outlier to the circle.

This barrow is little more than a rise in the ground a little over a metre high. On its top is the base of a medieval wayside cross. It appears to be unexcavated and stands 240m from a contemporary standing stone.
