The trenches of the graves can be recognised by their darker colour.

Like nearly all other dead of the Sengkofen LBK (Linear Pottery Culture) cemetery, the man of grave No. 24 is lying on his left side with flexed feet. A stone axe was buried with him as a grave good. The piece of deer horn near his hips had belonged to his clothing.

The depicted side of the stone displays a bay tree.
This photo was taken of a replica shown during the special exhibition „Werdendes Ruhrgebiet“ in the Ruhr Museum Essen.
The original stone can be seen in the St. Willibrord church in Rindern.

Sahlenburg Achtern Kugelfang Huegelgraeberfeld submitted by Andreas on 8th Mar 2011. This relatively well preserved barrow is situated at the southwestern edge of the cemetery, close to the crossing of two paths.
The barrow's diameter is about 15 metres, and the remaining height about 2 m.
It's overgrown with small oaks.
