The Novium

The Novium submitted by CoppellaiaMatta on 22nd Jan 2025. "Helmet. The underlying helmet found within the grave is of a Coolus type. It would have been hammered into shape from a cast rough-out. These two openwork crests are unique. They were attached to the helmet by means of five mounts, creating a headdress unlike anything discovered previously. The crescent-sha...

Graylingwell Earthwork submitted by CoppellaiaMatta on 12th Feb 2025. New playing fields are being built in the park, they reach the edges of the iron age dyke but don't overrun it.
