Log Text: Very accessible and beautiful site in the woods. We could have done with some directions, so here goes... you need to stop in a lay by on the left coming from Evora, cross road to rhs and look for a kind of gap in barbed wire fence with red and white sign. Climb over wire fence follow path into woods about 100m max.Site is impressive with one very large stone and about 30 others. Some campers have treated it inconsiderately with toilet paper etc.

Log Text: You can book a tour in advance for 3e from the escoural info office - well worth it. Needs a guide to show the images.. they're 20000 years old so bound to be faint !
