Log Text: Since my homeland (Uckermark) was also home to Slavic tribes, and Slavs attacked this castle on Falster, I am particularly interested in the history of this rampart. :)

Log Text: It is a nature reserve and therefore one should not damage the small trees and scrub. A visit in summer is not recommended due to the dense vegetation. The noise of the highway disturbs the beautiful atmosphere in the forest.

Log Text: Despite the high voltage power line and the noise from the highway and that the burial mound is not in perfect condition, it is wonderful there. The view over the wide landscape here in the very north of my home region the historic landscape Uckermark is simply beautiful.

From the museum website: "Silver was virtually unknown in Denmark when this large cauldron of nine kilos arrived in the country in around 100 BC. ... it was produced in the southern Balkans by Thracians, who specialised in the manufacture of luxurious silverware."

Log Text: I've never spent so many hours in a museum. I was finally able to look at so many finds I finally wanted to see in real, especially some from Bornholm. The big city around has always kept me from going there. But it was definitely worth it for the museum.

Log Text: Surrounded by roads on all sides, right in the highway exit. Of course, that doesn't make for a good ambience. But the rampart is still well preserved and if you pass by there anyway, like me, a short visit is worthwhile, provided it is in the seasons where not all is overgrown.

Log Text: With the beautiful winter weather today, it was a wonderful walk. A visit is worthwhile, if at all, because there is almost nothing to see from the rampart, only in the cold months because in summer everything is overgrown and there isn't a direct path to the site.
