The Braaid stone circle/settlement, The sign at the site said that before the Vikings built a home there [cheeky buggers] it was most probably a neolithic stone circle because of the neolithic finds they made while excavating the site, It's a Great place.

Meayll Hill

Meayll Hill submitted by Bladup on 18th Apr 2013. The mull circle (Meayll Hill) was quite clearly once an embanked stone circle, you can see that people in prehistory broke up the circle stones (I was putting them back together in my head very successfully when i realised what the place originally was) and built the chambered cairns where the standing stones were once stood on the inside of the bank, a very beautiful place indeed.
