Dolmen de la Pagerie submitted by greywether on 3rd Jul 2005. An Angevin dolmen 10.6m x 5m with two massive capstones, one partly resting on the ground. The two portal stones survive; on the LH one is a carving of a bull, which I missed :-(. June 1994.

A few miles to the south of Bielsa, a road climbs towards the top of the mountain with the ancient village of Tella at the top. Before reaching the top, there is this most spectacularly situated dolmen.

Dolmen dit La Maison du Loup submitted by thecaptain on 13th Feb 2006. This dolmen is found in thick woodland on the end of a defended headland overlooking the Vézère river, and is at the top of a cliff edge. The dolmen is in part made from natural rocks, with a couple of sideslabs and a capstone (now broken into two pieces) resting on a rocky outcrop.

There was no obvious path to the stones apart from through the crops so I took the shot from a distance.
