This rock art site is located in a small park between to large apartment flat buildings almost in the middle of the city of Sarpsborg overlooking the river Glomma. The area around is only lawn grass and the site has information posters and can also be found on google maps. The site is beeing regularly kept clean of moss and dirt and a dry wall have been buildt over the rock surface.
The carvings (32 in total) picture several boats with crew lines, three human figures, one quite larger than the others and one holding a bow and arrow and another one seemingly climbing a rope or pole and another one with a sword next to it, several undefined carvings and cupmarks and one wagon or cart beeing pulled by two horses.
The rock art is believed to be of the typical bronze age rock art type known from hundreds of sites troughout Østfold and west coast of Sweden. The carvings have not been painted red or white but are still easily visible as they appear lighter in colour than the rest of the rock surface.
