The largest barrow is on the recently cleared part of the forest. it is tree stumps and broken tree parts everywhere but the short grass makes the barrow easy to see. It is a beautiful round barrow, 28 metres in diameter and around 5 metres in height. Even with a crater on top it is still in a beautiful shape, it also have a clear ditch around it.
The other of the two barrow is located around 40 metres to the east of the largest barrow, it is 17 metres in diameter and around 3 metres in height. This barrow doesnt seem to have a crater on it or any sign of damage. It also has a beautiful rounded shape. It is outside the fenced in area but covered only with short moss and easy to see. it is on the edge of the high natural hill.
When I visited the site it was getting late in the evening so I apologize if some of the photos are grainy because of the low light conditions.
