This is a potentially ancient site. It seems to be instead a kind of stone avenue, that then leads into the hill in a number of places. Two rows of large stones, lead alongside the footpath, to then turn into the rocky hillside. Where they turn, the stone avenues appear to become passage graves, with large stones at the side, and material fallen in from above. It is like the passages may have been leading into caves.
This site can't be confirmed to be ancient or not, but was described by Lana Shrimpton as needing more research. There are also several cairns and propped stones or 'dolmens' around here.
