This cairn circle is featured on the Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks (PDW) website - see their page for the Stonetor Hill Cairn Circle, which tells us this site was listed as a possible stone circle by Turner (his reference: G12)
The site is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 889193, which tells us there are two upright slabs, both standing to a height of 1.2m, and which act as parish boundary markers. There is also an entry in the Devon and Dartmoor HER: MDV54535 (Boundary Stone(s) in the Parish of Dartmoor Forest, Gidleigh).
