One of the larger remaining mounds in Ohio, Williamson has been attributed to the Adena culture, based on appearance and placement alone. The mound is just under 30 feet high and approximately 150 feet in diameter.

The mound is at the end of a well maintained trail, just under a mile from a parking area.

A National Register of Historic Places site.
