The remains of a large cairn can be found on the southwest slopes of Great Links Tor, about 15m diameter.

There is a large depression in its middle, with some fairly large stones laying randomly around, perhaps the remains of a chamber or kist.

Update October 2019: This cairn is featured on the Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks (PDW) website - see their entry for the Great Links Tor Cairn, which tells us there is variation in the sizing of the cairn from various sources: "(this is a) cairn with a hollow in centre. Diameter 17.5m, height 1.6m. ... (Grinsell) 18.0m diameter, 1.4m high. Siting - hillspur. ... (Gerrard) cairn mound measures 19m in diameter and stands up to 1.5m high. An irregular shaped hollow in the centre of the mound, measuring 4m long, 3m wide and up to 1.3m deep, suggests partial early excavation or robbing".

The cairn is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 440566 and on the Devon and Dartmoor HER as MDV4653 (Round cairn 310 metres south-south-west of Great Links Tor).

The cairn is also scheduled as Historic England List UD 1007628 (Round cairn 310m SSW of Great Links Tor).
