La Croix Petite menhir
La Croix Petite menhir submitted by ocdolmen : Ocdolmen at La Croix Petite menhir, Dordogne, France The stone is approximately 2.50 meters height for 1.30 meters wide and thickness about 40 centimetres. This menhir does not appear in any inventory. (Vote or comment on this photo)
At the immediate roadside between the town of Sarlat and that of Bugue, a hundred meters before arriving at the hamlet of "La Croix Petite" ("the Small Cross") is planted a beautiful limestone stone (calcareous with grinding stones of typical mill of the Dordogne) of approximately 2.50 meters height for 1.30 meters broad and thickness 40 centimetres.

This menhir does not appear in any inventory.
Being given the patina of the stone and its good ground establishment, it is well there for a very long time.
