Approximately 15 feet high and 80 feet in diameter, one of many examples of settlers of the 1820’s through 1840’s placing their cemeteries and churches close to ancient mounds and earthworks.

You can see the mound at any time from highway 40 or County Road 323 at any time, but the churchyard is posted as open from dawn to dusk.
