I edited Manuel Vega's new English edition of his book Sailors of Stonehenge (the one with a vertical name band on the cover) and that has inspired me to write a novel about the juncture between the Stone Age and the Bronze Age. It may turn into a series, but I am fighting against that. I am researching all sorts of things to write with an authentic feel about life at that time. At present I am researching the topography of the river basins between Lisbon and Madrid, the Tejo, Jarama and Manzanares rivers for navigability at that period.
