An early morning hauling of stepladders affords an unusually good photo of this often difficult to photograph stone circle.

You must have presented an unusual sight, walking across the moor with your stepladders . . . and the result is definitely worth it!

It was rather early so we never saw a soul. Wish the same could be said when I was at Brenig earlier this year, farmer in his 4x4 must've thought me mad.
