This quartz cobble, approximately 15x15x10cm, was found partially buried on the S side of the wall crossing the tumulus. It is considered unlikely to be native to the immediate area, within 15km,  and along with other smaller quartz pebbles seen on site, is thought to have been imported by the builders of the tumulus.
