Description
Looking along the 17 capstone passage grave from the West. Foreground showing westernmost capstone. The chamber is surrounded by a very rare double oval enclosure. The flat sides of the kerb-stones faced towards the outside of the barrow, but the earthwork is almost completely lost (historic "excavations") as well as the dry-walling. The site is partly embedded into the sandy ground. April 2009
