Description
Inscription for Emperor Caius Caligula. The temple started out as a Temple of Baal and then was rebuilt as a Temple of Jupiter-Sol. From about 326 Ce it then progressively became a Greek Catholic church. It now has a false facade and only three column bases are visible. There are three niches for Baal statues at the back.
