What a stunning site. [regarding cup marks: I am unfamiliar with this type of rock hence fail to assess whether these are geology or made by humans. ]

They could indeed be solution pits Martin, it's hard to tell.

Many capstones used on wedge tombs in this area have cupmarks on them.
