Every time I have visited this site I have never seen anyone else, they tend to park at the top of the hill and take the easy walk to Cerrig LLadron (Foel Eryr) to take in the views from the summit and its Bronze age burial cairn. This time, lots of people around which is not a bad thing as our ancient history is always better in peoples consciousness and hopefully this way it will be better protected for our descendants.

Hmm -- I think I would prefer it if people were to look critically at the published reports, instead of lapping up all the contents of a "pop" TV programme fronted by Alice Roberts. Fantasy, all of it.........

Stunnng photo and thanks for the anchoring in of waun mawn. I think the interest and excitement is, on the whole, good. My concern is that many people visiting a place fired up with tv programme curiosity can leave it with less. I used to, until i found megalithic portal. Wiki wasn't enough. This portal has lot to support preparation and post visit reflection.
