Description
Hadrian's Wall path at Walltown Crags takes you over a stile over a dry stone wall, then leads you up a paved path, with a nice (but steep) flight of steps up to Turret 44b. The humps/banks you can see running from bottom to left alongside the beige-coloured footpath are the stone and earth remains of the wall. King Arthur's Holy Well is supposed to be located just to the right of the path at this point.
