Description
Looking north eastwards across the western face of this standing stone, towards Poldean farmhouse and farm buildings. Canmore classifies this stone as a prehistoric standing stone, but an entry from 1920 reads: "This stone is said to have been erected to mark the spot where Prince Charles' troops bivouacked on their march into England in the '45".
