Description
This is the closest we managed to get to the burial chamber at Garn Turne Rocks - from the footpath leading up to Ffynone. By way of compensation, we ended up seeing the Ogham and Latin inscribed stone at St. Dogwell's church.

Fairly reasonable compensation perhaps - the photos from St Dogwell's were great finds!

Hi, Pab, Most definitely good compensation. St. Dogwell's was a little gem tucked away in a quiet corner of the Welsh countryside. Apart from the over enthusiastic combine harvester driver we met shortly after taking this photo, couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. Thanks for the compliments about the photos. Anne T.

Yes, its a very interesting stone in the church at St Dogwell's. By the way the village is named after St Dogmael. He has another dedication at Llandudoch (St Dogmael's) on the Cardigan coast, where another stone called The Sagranus Stone is well worth seeing.
