Description
Less overgrown again after some gardening. Seen from the NW. Chamber largely embedded into eroded remains of the covering barrow. Damaged by historic destruction attempts, but only one orthostat is missing, while all others are preserved in situ: 3 (out of 3) on the south-western long side, 2 (out of 3) on the north-eastern long-side and one orthostat on each narrow side. The chamber is slightly trapezoid, being wider in the south-east. The large south-eastern capstone still was in situ in 1927. The two smaller capstones ar collapsed into the chamber. Clear size is 4,5m x 2,5m(SE)/2m(NW). According to Sprockhoff's research it was an extended dolmen. The entrance most probably was situated at the south-eastern narrow side as the orthostat on this side is noticeably shorter. Medium format photo taken 2017.
