Description
This superb lenticular cloud formed above Tal y Fan, south from Druids Circle. I had actually had half an hour nap against one of the stones, and then awoke to find this cloud looming. It's a good job I did not take Quatermass seriously!

This is wonderful, I love it when nature does something unexpected like this, it's one of those moments when you just had to be there. One of the many reasons I love to be out there rambling is I am not in control, just breathing in, and absorbing, nature, naturally. How very kind of her to reward your well earned nap (I'm sure) with this sight.

I have seen this before in other photos I undestand this type of cloud formation is very rare.
