From the Northern side, showing how overgrown this site has been for many years for the trees to achieve the size they have. If I hadn't known it was a Long Barrow I'd not have been able to recognise it as such.

From the Northern side, showing how overgrown this site has been for many years for the trees to achieve the size they have. If I hadn't known it was a Long Barrow I'd not have been able to recognise it as such.

I visited it on Sunday. From the east end the Bulford stone would have been easily visible at the brow of the hill if it was still standing.
