Part of the impressive Vedsted 'Femhøje' complex.
('Femhøje' = Five Hills / Barrows)
A Round Barrow with almost complete kerb stones, three Long Barrows;
one of these with a lot of still visible kerb stones and an astounding length of
115 meters, a beautiful and well preserved passage grave, plus one of those
danish 'Jættestue' that you can explore from inside the chamber.

Great set of pictures. And I am very delighted to see this multi-site in far better condition than in 1991.

Thank You Martin. Frankly, esp. this tomb came as an unexpected surprise.
I was planning my birthday trip with GoogleEarth and had seen the kerb stones of the Long Barrow, also a picture of the entrance of the other Jættestue. You can judge from the pictures, 'Femhøje' was one of the highlights this day.
