Description
Mynydd Egryn (Mount Egryn). Midway between the 2 tombs of Carneddau Hengwm and the crown-effect cairn circle of Hengwm on the slopes of Mynydd Egryn. A series of circles seem to have been recently excavated. This picture looks over the circle towards NE (the top of Moelfre bearing 11' if that helps locate it)

This is a wonderful picture, and we searched the large field of the cairn circle down to Carneddau Hengwm (July 2019) to find it, but 11 years have passed, the grass was long and it's a very big field........
a wonderful place - we are definitely going back! Historic Wales puts it exactly midway, as you say, and it looks so clear in the 2012 Digital Aerial Photographs.

We finally found it! Flat and low on the ground but an impressive reconstruction of a hut circle with a paved floor. 250 meters WNW from the ring cairn, down a slope and hidden by spiky bog grass. 125 meters from Carneddau Hengwm.
