Description
Sloopsteine: Detail of “Seester Vase” - A nice example of Funnel-beaker pottery
The tomb was excavated in 1807 by the Graf von Münster (~ Earl of Münster) and some Funnel-beaker pottery was found. Among this the famous “Seester Vase”. A copy of it can be seen (on request) at the nearby restaurant/pub called “Schoppmeyer”. The original is in the Museum in Hannover I am not sure if it is currently on display or in archive.
