Description
Archeology Museum in Aleppo. The Basalt Statues on the front are copies of statues found at Tell Halaf by baron Von Oppenheim. The originals, taken to a Berlin Museum after WWI, where unfortunately very heavily damaged during the WWII bombings of the german capital.
The Aleppo museum tends to specialise on sattues and other large stone items. The museum is however currently being renovated, which means that some of the displays are a little disorganized and unlabeled.
