18-11-06 This appears to be the site, a large mound. Here the Eastern side of the mound, camera pointing Northwards. Horses and car for scale. The mound was completely inaccessible, being overgrown with trees. I have strong (and very possibly unfounded) suspicions that this mound is a more recent (medieaval?) feature. Not sure though!
