St Kilda is one of the most remote places I've ever been to. Abandoned by its population in the 1930s, the remains included a subterranean space and an ancient mound which reminded me of Brane entrance grave. I feel very blessed to have made the journey here.

Great pics, thanks. I've read a couple of books about St Kilda and it sounds like a fascinating, but difficult to get to, place. Well done.

Sorry, good photo, but this is not the site recorded as the House of the Fairies. The mound is wrong (even for Cleit 70 nearby) and the entrance stones quite wrong. I will submit an overlay plan on aerial image.

Hello Alasdair, could you let us know the OS map reference for this site and I'll submit a new page for it, thanks!

Hi Andy,
Your existing OS map ref is very close (NF 10019 99409) - I think the best one would be NF 10017 99410
It probably does not need a new page - just a tweak of NGR
Easting: 10017 Longitude: -7.520769 Lng DecMinSec: -7° 31' 14.77"
Northing: 99410 Latitude: 50.663349 Lat DecMinSec: 50° 39' 48.06"
Best wishes

That's updated, also thanks for the aerial photo upload.
