Description
The only pump I can find near this plaque is the Iron Victorian Grade II listed (ID: 1116164) pump in Market Square.

unless there was a pump at the small roundabout in front of the Swan Cafe that has since been removed. Couldn't see one on any old photos though. Neither locations were marked with pumps or wells on the 1888 OS map I consulted.

In September 1645, three women, Joan Williford, Joan Cariden and Jane Hott, were found guilty of performing witch-craft and hanged at this spot., during a period of sustained witch-craft hysteria occasioned by the uncertainites of the Civil War.
