In the churchyard of St John the Baptist Church, 2011

The church was probably the site of a pre-Christian sanctuary.
The church shows every period since the 12th century and there is Roman bricks in part of the chancel.
There are many monuments to the Halsey family, for whom Gaddesden Place was built from 1768 to 1773.
